Scenario The first settlement of Sydney was the result of the need to establish British colonies. Have you ever wondered what life was like for people who came on the First Fleet. What were the important achievements, events and places in our early history?

Where there consequences of British colonisation for people and the environment? Do you think they were good or bad or a bit of both. Life would have been very different for all the new settlers. What do you think life really like in the early settlement?

As a group, read through the scenario, task, assessment criteria and all of the steps in the process to familiarise yourself with what is required and allocate group roles.
